For sale for refurb rewire salvaged
Superb French Antique 1 light 3 candle medieval chateau chandelier fabricated in iron and steel,hand forged and looks superb lit up
Consisting of 2 steel circular centre bands, with 6 uprights with top scrolls in iron to the top and curved bottoms ending at the drip trays
The screw in bulb fitting to the centre is E14 and the drip trays that hold the candles that are forged to the bands could be electrified as I noticed when I took the photos that there are small holes in the drip trays so if you wanted to get rid of the candles and fit electric fittings its very possible and pretty easy to do.
The hanging chain again in heavy steel that hooks onto the central top band which also takes the wiring up to the ceiling,please note it is very heavy so will need to be secured very well. weight before packaging is approx 3 kgs 6 lbs.Dimensions approx are
Width 50 cm`s 20 inches
Height 76 cm`s 30 inches including the chain you could also lower or lengthen the chain depending on the room you are fitting it in

The fitting is shown lit up and working but It would have to be rewired by a competent electrician or handyman, for your countries regulations there is also no earth on this fitting, there is also a small amount of surface rust covering the fitting in some area`s, It is an original beautiful handmade and rare chandelier and this style is becoming very difficult to find.
Do not mistake this fitting with the many cheap reproductions available from certain countries, the quality is very different and made to last many years,however if you are looking for a chandelier that you can fit straight away with no work this is not for you sadly.
