19TH C. MINIATURE ON A GOLDEN BACKGROUND YOUNG GIRL IN GRISAILLE FRAME LOUIS XVI M1293This 19th century miniature represents a young girl from the Empire on a gilded background. The miniature is of good quality. She uses a grisaille technique. It does not bear a signature but it is of great finesse. The technique is excellent, there is no doubt that he is a talented miniaturist. The frame is perhaps later, at the end of the 19th century, Napoleon III, with a pretty Louis XVI style knot.
