The freshness remained adequate, but we must accept the various defects. The work does not have protective glass. Edouard Halouze, French painter, illustrator and decorator (1895-1958). At the beginning of the 1920s, he provided fashion drawings to the Gazette du bon ton and he participated in an exhibition devoted to “Fashion seen by painters” presented at the Museum of Decorative Arts. Little by little, his style, mixing cubist decorations and costumes, established itself on the covers of music hall programs. In the 1930s, at the height of the Art Deco period, he produced remarkable colored stencil engravings, some inspired by his passion for mountain resorts and winter sports.
