Watercolor André Casabonne Orientalist El Kantara Village Rouge M2064Here is a watercolor on paper representing "El Kantara in the red village", it was made by André Casabonne (19th-20th century). Renowned watercolourist, André Casabonne moved to Algiers in 1922, from there he traveled to Tunis, Gabes, Carthage, Biskra. He paints views of Tunisia and Algeria which he exhibits in Oran and Algiers. The work has its beautifully crafted Orientalist original frame. Unfortunately, there is no longer any protective glass. The work is in good general condition, however, we report small foxing and small deformations in the margin. Our many photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object.
