It bears the inscription "Mater Dei". The Virgin in childbirth is a statuette frequently present in homes from the 18th to the 19th century. On the head of the virgin, there is a hollowed-out crown at the bottom of which there is a hole two centimeters in diameter. Through this hole, holy water could be poured into the bottom of the statuette, but above all, a candle could be placed that was lit when the "labor" of the parturient began.   For the condition, note a crack at the bottom of the foot with a lack, a crack on the head, firing defects, the whole remains in an acceptable general condition for an 18th century earthenware object.
