This vintage Scandinavian style chandelier is a real gem from the 1960s.
True to the vintage era, it hangs from a brass rod and chain, with five black plastic arms radiating from the centre, carrying the bulbs and shades at each end. A brass coloured plastic ceiling rose sits at the top. The shades are moulded nylon with a crystallised finish which adds texture and depth. They slot into the frame and slide out easily for cleaning.
This chandelier is in full working order, but I would recommend having the wiring checked by a qualified electrician before using it, as the wiring is also period and may need updating to be safe.
Dimensions: Hangs 50cm from the ceiling, 48cm diameter.
Each shade measures 14.5cm high, 13cm wide and 8cm deep (oval shape).
Due to its size it would suit many rooms, adding a touch of chic and vintage style to any interior design.
