Basically it is a portable lamp, a battery-powered lantern, for the use of craftsmen, peasants, etc. Manufactured by Mazda. All metal, hammered effect. It has been transformed into a table lamp, to be plugged in, and to do without the battery. Its handle also allows it to be presented suspended. The lamp is mounted on pivots allowing it to be tilted on the axis. The small lampshade, diffuser, is in striated glass. To respect its original patina, the rust has been scraped off and it has received a transparent anti-rust varnish to 'fix' it as it is. The electricity is new: e14 socket with 'pigmy' energizer led bulb supplied. Red braided fabric wire, plug and switch. Perfect in an industrial, vintage, loft decoration.
