Pretty vintage secretary, 60s. An aesthetic and very practical piece of furniture with its small dimensions. Solid and well built. A folding tablet that locks, which opens onto a storage space with a small shelf. Below 2 doors with the original brass handles opening onto a larger space with a new shelf. Nice oblique base. The furniture is mainly in oak veneer. The plus: the folding tablet has been renovated inside / outside, varnished as originally. (There remains a slight discoloration, an old plastic desk pad that I removed...) Also on this tablet, the hinge fixings have been reinforced, weak point of this type of secretary, now it is very solid. Same treatment for the upper shelf, new varnish. The rest of the furniture has been cleaned, waxed. There are still some slight traces of time consistent with its age, in good condition. Width 65cm, height 115cm. Depth 40cm.
