Superb and very rare American naval cutlass regulation saber model 1861 with its (very rare) scabbard, very present. It is stamped on the heel of the manufacturer: "U.S.N. D.R. 1862 + 17 M 176 ''. The blade is in good condition, in its own juice. The scabbard is in slightly worn leather with fastening buttons on the back, the end of the scabbard is pierced (Photo No. 9), but everything is still in good condition. The set dates from the end of the 1862s (American Civil War). Blade in its own juice with remains of chrome. Very beautiful and rare saber, very pleasant to hold in the hands and even more to observe in the display case, 100% original guaranteed !!!
