With the French Revolution, the regime that existed before was abolished. It therefore becomes ancient.

Extremely rare and superb French officer's sword from the Ancien Régime. Gilded bronze hilt and granite. The handle is made of ebony with a knight's head, no play. The blade is superbly engraved in very good condition with '' an inscription ''. Shell-shaped plate, complete! The scabbard is made of wood covered in black leather with gilded bronze fittings, probably restored (?) to be checked. Very beautiful piece in its original condition, superb! A superb piece, very pleasant to hold in your hands and even more so to observe in its collection display case, 100% original and rare.
