Superb German sabre called '' à la Blucher ''. In force in the Prussian cavalry and infantry. Based on the 1811 model, which was used from the Napoleonic wars (notably at Waterloo) until the middle of the 20th century. This sabre was largely inspired by the English model called '' Modèle 1796 '', with the typical shape of the guard and the curved blade, which is said to have wreaked havoc in the French army.

Blade with central fuller, entirely etched on both sides with traces due to time, original red leather tie, shiny scabbard. Symbol of the mines on the handle: '' HAMMER AND PICKAXE + CROWN ''. Handle with original gilding, entirely engraved on both sides. Handle with shagreen or ray skin, filigree very present! Pure WW1 piece, end of the 19th century RARE!!! Very rare and 100% original!
