Superb German sabre called '' à la Blucher ''. In force in the Prussian cavalry and infantry. Based on the 1811 model, which was used from the Napoleonic wars (notably at Waterloo) until the middle of the 20th century. This sabre was largely inspired by the English model called '' Modèle 1796 '', with the typical shape of the guard and the curved blade, which is said to have wreaked havoc in the French army.

White steel handle, leather and filigree present to be restored in their own juice. Original red tie (Very rare). No scabbard! Pure juice piece circa 1850-1870 !!! Very, very rare and 100% original!
