Superb and massive British officer's sabre/palash from the Elizabeth II dynasty. The handle is very solid with a superb guard in white steel with 1 branch. The blade is in superb condition etched: '' monogram E II R '' and " QUEENS OWN RIFLES OF CANADA ". The scabbard is in iron with two rings very clean. Handle in beautiful condition with the watermark still present! Marked on the heel: '' HORSTER SOLINGEN / GERMANY '' The saber fits perfectly in its scabbard. This is a magnificent original English saber in good condition, very rare. Superb piece, very pleasant to hold in your hands and even more to observe in a display case, 100% original guaranteed!
