Description
Pierre gire (1901-1984), alias pierre d'avesn. When he started out at the age of 14, he worked for rene Lalique for 10 years. During this period, he designed Lalique's famous "serpent" vase as well as the "swirls" vase, two of "Lalique's" most expensive and most collected pieces. In 1926, he left Réne Lalique and created his own models. Its pieces were made by the Saint-Rémy crystal factory.
