COPPER PLATE ASSURANCES L'URBAINE & LA SEINE INCENDIE ET VIE ALGIERS SAPORITA & SINTES ALGIERS 1930 M1198 This plate was probably installed in the city of Algiers by the Vallot-Rongier establishments. It's a step back in time, a historical plaque that had to be removed at the time of decolonization. Note an inscription at the bottom right Saporita & sintes Alger It is a little damaged, oxidized, it remains presentable, we report friction and patina wear, jumps in material especially on the letters, verdigris above of "GENERAL AGENTS" and on the lower and upper edges, verdigris also on the back of the plate.
