This armchair is referenced at THONET before 1890 under the No. 47, KOHN fundamentally modernizes it and takes ownership of it with its No. 143 from 1902 with a higher back and more elegant proportions, a lamé pattern very modern for the time . It was then taken up by Fischel and Thonet until 1930 (see catalogs) Here in the version with oval foot retaining ring!
