Very nice rectangular fiberglass tray from the 60s.
The particularity of this tray is that it represents the reproduction of a lithograph by the painter Bernard Buffet (1928-1999) signed by the artist on the theme of "L'Alsace Veritable" produced approximately around 1961.
The model represented is the door of a village in Alsace.
According to the drawing, it could be "The Witches' Tower", a Gothic tower gate (1402) which is located in the village of Chatenois or Kestenholz, a few steps from the Château du Haut Koenigsbourg. This door is one of the most beautiful in Alsace and the most represented!
