This model was manufactured between 1885 and 1920- Black-Empire under shellac.- The caning is new redone as well as originally in 5 threads *(SR)- Perfectly stable, variable height from 49 to 60 cm, set screw. Parcel France and Europe, removal Alsace. *The 5-thread caning has a very nice square pattern, which differs from the traditional 6-thread canning which has an octagon. It is relatively little found on classic chairs with dimensions of 37 cm or more. It is particularly recommended for small seats that have a lot of cane holes and therefore a very tight weave.
