Thonet Chair No. 19/1 called "Engelstuhl" (angel chair), a model created by Thonet before 1880. This chair is in such good condition that it can be used daily with comfort, silence and elegance. Model No. 19 with a round seat is common, but the chair offered here, very rare, has a trapezoidal seat, small turned capitals adorn the upper part of the front legs. This is a "luxury" model. Beautiful stamp (before 1882) under the seat. Label missing. Very beautiful "medium walnut" color, excellent condition of structure and conservation.
