This THONET A 967 F office/living room armchair; bistro, made between 1925 and 1937, is derived from the design and formats initiated by the Vienna Secession; this type of model reappears in manufacturers' catalogs in the Art Deco period. Compact proportions, sober design, the legs of the seat are also the uprights on which rests a curved wooden hanger forming armrests and backrest, here covered in simple leather under bronze tips. The leather is old, patinated and in good condition. The Thonet brand stamp is visible in the seat belt.
