Magnificent set of 5 iron earthenware plates from the Clairefontaine factory.
Their dimensions are: 22 cm in diameter, 2.5 cm in height.
They date from the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century as evidenced by their LG stamp (for Léon Graves who was director of the factory between 1894 and 1913).
For the Châteaux decor, each plate represents a château in France: Chambord, Chantilly, Pierrefonds, Rambouillet, Saint-Germain.
In excellent condition, but note a small chip in the decoration of the Pierrefonds castle plate. On a plate, the stamp is not visible.
The details are in the photos which accompany this description, but do not hesitate to contact me for any further information, I will be happy to advise you.
