Magnificent and rare Swiss cavalry officer's saber. The handle is made of white steel, very solid as it should be on this type of model, with a single branch guard and the leather thumb rest still present. The handle is made of wood, covered with ray skin (RARE), no play, very solid. Chrome present on the guard and the scabbard.
The blade is in a beautiful state of conservation, still shiny, marked on the right '' WAFFENFABRIK NEUHAUSEN '' (rare and also known for having produced the famous C96 MAUSER) and on the left '' 10632 12 ''. The scabbard is made of metal, also in beautiful condition, very solid, punched. This magnificent saber was found in an attic between the Belgian and French border and it is 100% original and in beautiful state of conservation.
