The old arms factory of Toledo is located in the Spanish city of Toledo, in Castilla-La Mancha. Since 1998, the complex has been occupied by the University of Castilla-La Mancha, forming a scientific and technological campus. It is characterized by presenting a set of the best preserved old industrial buildings, of an architecture of exceptional beauty and high quality, never built in Spain in the last two centuries.

Superb and luxurious Spanish ceremonial sword for officers. The handle is in gilded bronze with floral motifs and military symbols as well as a red cross (medical corps?). The filigree is original. The scabbard is made of leather and engraved brass with its very beautiful original gilding. Clean and still shiny blade. + '' SUPERB AND RARE BAUDRIER '' with the insignia of a GENDARME type grenade. The sword is quite clean and in good condition for its age. It probably dates from the 20th century (to be verified).
