Superb Art Deco cup in opalescent glass, pressed molded with plant decoration
This piece is a model from the Verlys house, even if no signature is visible on the object.
In the Ezan, Lalique, Sabino, Etling style, the bowl is in opalescent glass, pressed, molded and satin-finished on the exterior.
It has a voluminous plant decoration, leafy branches and chestnuts.
The craftsmanship of the ornaments is very delicate and subtle.
The chestnuts in volume serve as feet for the bowl.
A 2cm crack accompanied by two splinters (see photo) should be noted around the outer edge of the cup. In all sincerity it remains very little visible and is even part of the extension of the foliage. The integrity of the part is not altered.
