Superb sword of a French officer of the municipal guard of Paris. Guard decorated with floral ornaments, armor and crossed cannons, guard with a movable branch, with a rooster and the inscription: ''Garde municipal de Paris July 29, 1830''. Superb blade, in its original state with a triangular gutter: ''GARDE MUNICIPALE DE PARIS JULY 29, 1830'', quite rare. Markings on the blade ''in Paris''. Leather scabbard in its original condition with bronze trim, marked with the number ''166''. Complete watermark. A magnificent and rare piece in its original state, in very good condition, to be seized by any knowledgeable collector passionate about French art. Very pleasant to hold in your hands and look at in the window! Splendid piece, totally original!
