STENCIL GOUACHE BY LEON HAFFNER REPRESENTING A REGATTA BOAT A4809This stencil gouache was made by Léon Haffner with a nice technique, a classic of the artist. You will notice that Léon Haffner signs with a marine anchor, it is a distinctive sign of marine painters. Léon Haffner (1881-1972) was appointed official painter of the navy in 1918.
