Vintage soliflore vase, second half of the 20th century. In mouth-blown glass, purple lined with blue by the so-called "sommerso" technique, initially popularized by Flávio Poli, and continued by others, in Murano, Italy. A technique , which consists of superimposing layers of glass by successively passing the object through different crucibles of molten glass, allowing subtle color combinations. A very pretty handcrafted design piece.
