SET of Antique French Vintage Pressed Glass Cake and Cheese Covers and Tray
A set of pressed glass covers and trays.
This food cover is called a cloche because it is shaped like a bell.
In France it was mainly used as a cover for cheese.
I think it is also perfect for cupcakes, madeleines, canelés, macaroons and mignardises.
There is a crack in the cover.
It can be used as is as long as it is not bumped, but for those who do not mind cracks?
If the size is correct it can be used with your own flat plates or compotes.
This is a beautiful item with a hexagram on the top of the cover and embossing that looks like diamonds, stars and flowers on the sides.
Size (approx.):
Bell: Diameter 15.4 cm (inner diameter 14 cm) Height with handle 13 cm (inner height 7.5 cm)
Tray: Diameter 21 cm (flat part inside the rim 14-15 cm) Height 3.4
Weight with packaging: Within 2 kg
Shipping is expected in 2 or 1 package.
