Set of five No. 20 chairs, known as Omega by MUNDUS-WIEN, circa 1910. The Mundus Company created in 1907 is the merger of a few small manufacturers specializing in bentwood from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the best known are: Josef Hofmann, Josias Eissler, Fiume, Flaschner or even Harnisch. Obviously this lot is a Hofmann manufacture of Bielitz, each factory producing its own models sold under the Mundus brand. Beautifully made and in excellent condition. Honey blonde patina. Stamps and labels. Seat diameter: 41cm, seat height: 47cm total height: 92cm. The thermoformed seat of this lot is Lan XXI designed by Kohn from 1900, a great classic of the s sobriety of the 1900s. They are all in the state of the one photographed.
