Lot of 3 Japanese prints from the 1920s-30s, hand-painted.
Two in the format 21.5 cm x 41 cm, in its original wooden frame, representing for one (good condition) a traditional Japanese landscape, with a beach, a fisherman and a typical Japanese sailboat, in front of Mount Fujiyama, and for the other (damaged by a tear and the glass of the frame cracked) a scene of a traditional Japanese village on the edge of a beach.
The third in the format 19 cm x 34 cm in its original wooden frame represents trees at the top of a mountain with its river, and overlooking the sea. Typical scene of Japanese art of this period.
Works produced and designed by the famous Matsumoto Studio, represented in Europe in the 1930s in London only.
Rare paintings in France at this time.
Some wear and tear stains on the paper but painted part, in good condition except for one of the three pieces (see photos).
Some dust also under the windows, the back has never been opened since its purchase (hence the small dust deposits).
A beautiful set for scenes that mark a style and an era, which perfectly dress an interior for those who love Japanese art and its paintings.
