Rare set of 3 cups with their saucer as well as a sugar bowl stamped a.h. & co.
The Adolphe Axe factory was the first industrial company in Vierzon and its ovens were extinguished in 1934. We can therefore easily deduce that these objects date from the end of the 19th century - beginning of the 20th century.
Presence of a chip on the sugar bowl (detail in photo). The cups have no cracks or chips but have tiny chips and partial erasures of the silver edging. Two saucers have very slight chips on the back and a crack. The saucers have a diameter of 12.5 cm, the cups have a diameter of 8 cm (including the handle) and 6 cm without the handle. The dimensions of the sugar bowl are: 16 cm in length (with the handles), 12 cm in width and 16 cm in height. These items will be ideal for completing or beginning a service.
