Light Cavalry Troop Saber 1822 from the “Manufacture Royale de Châtellerault February 1837”

Saber with curved blade of the "Montmorency" type; the 92 cm blade with a flat back, two rounded hollow sides and two gutters; the crown is beaded; the brass filigree sheepskin handle; a main branch guard No. 1299 accompanied by three illegible hallmarks and two side branches constitute the mount; the brass shell ends with a beak and hallmark B. Blade punched at the heel (illegible)
Almost mirror blade with a few traces but without damage and not sharpened, no play on all the elements

Leather tie
Steel scabbard with a wide one-ring bail bracelet (small signs of use)
Saber length 106cm and 110cm with sheath
