Lamp attributed to Jean-Maurice Rothschild (1902-1998), representing a crouching page or messenger, resting on a solid hammered metal base. The character's body is made of resin, very similar to wood. Manufactured in the 1950s.
Good general condition, some marks from time (see photos). The scar on the face is original, it also appears on the tables of this artist.
