The walnut frame is carved with chimeras and the feet represent lion's paws at all angles. Acanthus leaves adorn the cuffs and stylized petals are carved on the base.
There are no missing or chipped parts, all the sculptures are in perfect condition.
The armrests (of the sofa and the armchair) are in double cane, as is the back of the armchair (single for the sofa).
