The Nichan Iftikhar or Nichan al Iftikhar (Arabic: Order of Pride) is an ancient Tunisian honorary order desired between 1835 and 1837 by Moustapha Bey and really formalized at the beginning of the reign of his son and successor Ahmed I Bey, bey of Tunis from 1837 to 1855. This first Tunisian order, due to its date of creation, is awarded to reward civil and military services to both Tunisian and foreign nationals. It was awarded until the abolition of the Husseinite monarchy on July 25, 1957.

Very beautiful cross / medal from Nichan Iftikhar. Diamented and white enameled cross, green enamel center with Arabic inscriptions in the center. With its original yellow red ribbon edged in red as well as its needle. With its patina and traces due to time. Original documents and diplomas. Medal awarded to Mr. ''MAX DEVILLER'', merchant in Nice, June 9, 1952. One of the last medals awarded, so the historical existence will end in 1957. Charles de Gaulle period who was also holder of the order. Very pleasant to hold in the hands and even more pleasant to observe in the window. Very rare and 100% original. XX.
