The kandjar (or kanjar, khandjar, cangiar) is an oriental bladed weapon. It is, in particular, the dagger with a very wide and curved blade worn at the waist by men in the Sultanate of Oman during ceremonies. It slips into the belt, silver or leather, which holds the dishdasha, the traditional costume.

Very beautiful and rare small '' Caucasian Kindjal ''. The handle is made of lacquered wood and a richly decorated scabbard. Very clean blade with several central grooves. Very beautiful and very solid short saber / dagger, rare in this state of conservation. Practically impossible to find on classic sales sites. A very beautiful and sumptuous piece that is starting to become rare! Very pleasant to hold in your hands and even more so to observe in a display case! 100% original !!!
