Historical context:

Rare and beautiful kindjal saber called '' Beibut ''. Made on the basis of the regulatory model of 1907, it replaced from that date, the shashka of soldiers, artillerymen, gendarmes and military cyclists. Made on the model of the traditional '' kindjal '' with the only difference being the curvature of the blade, it was widely used in the trenches during the First World War and subsequently during the revolutions of 1917 and the Civil War that followed. The last known example to date was made in 1919 (around 5000 copies) during the reign of the Supreme Governor of White Russia, Admiral Kolchak. This weapon completely disappeared from the Russian army after its use by the White Guard during the Civil War (1918-1924).

The handle is made of wood and has two brass rivets on each side, no play it also has the markings of the Zlatoust factory '' Eagle + Zlatoust + 1915 ''.
