Magnificent Bavarian officer's saber in beautiful condition, in its original condition. Wooden handle covered in black leather. Beautiful blade, in its juice, still shiny, a few traces in places, with a central gutter, engraved on both sides with the Bavarian motto ''BAR GRINNERUNG AN MEINE DIENSKEIR'', in its juice, sharp and still shiny, from the other side: '' RGT BANR. 5 FELDARTIFF. RGT. KONIG ALFONS XIII D. SPANIEN ''. One-ring scabbard covered with black paint, also in its juice, the small screws are still in place with its original harness attachment. Very beautiful and rare piece, very pleasant to hold in the hands and even more pleasant to admire in the window! A simply magnificent and unusual saber!
