Historical context:



The Mauser G 71/84 can be considered a transitional weapon. It is in fact the association of a Gewehr 71 breech with a tubular magazine located under the barrel (similar to Lebel model 1886). This weapon will never be used in large numbers by the German army. It will nevertheless be exported in variants to Serbia and the Ottoman Empire. (Estimated in expertise & in auction house between 350-400 euros).

Rare and very beautiful massive bayonet, sword type for Mauser, dating from the First World War. Wooden handle with superb officer monogram '' G R '', solid and solid, without play. Shiny blade with a central fuller, marked on the heel: '' W.K. & C. ''. Chromed white steel scabbard with leather, in its own juice. Very beautiful and rare piece, in superb condition of conservation. Pure WW1 juice piece RARE !!! Very rare and 100% original!
