Description :

Very rare and superb Russian officer's saber model 1909. Received by the officer during the reign of the last Tsar of all the Russias, Nicholas II to whom he also swore oath and allegiance. The saber was reconditioned during the period of the provisional government (February 1917-October 1917), the monogram was filed like the markings on the heel. However, the monogram remains present inside the molding. The handle is in brass and black/brown bakelite ''with ''floral decorations''. Marked on the guard at the level of the leather tie: ''SLAVA MOSKVA'' (guarantee of quality of the saber). Saber with a blade with a central gutter and remains of chrome, some stains in places, nothing serious. Very beautiful and rare piece, completely unobtainable on French sites and more generally in Europe. Prices are generally unaffordable for Tsarist officers' sabers and many reproductions are in circulation. The piece comes from my collection, I am selling due to lack of space, don't hesitate! Simply unique, rare and 100% original guaranteed! The sword is in its original juice, with traces due to time, taken out of the attic to be cleaned! A superb piece, very pleasant to handle and hold, recovered as is. A simply magnificent piece to admire in a very rare window for sale!

THE LOT: SABER + SCABBARD (very rare!)

Do not miss this very beautiful specimen which could easily decorate your window as a witness to the tragic end of the Russian imperial family (Romanov) and its Empire, but also as a participant in numerous campaigns of the First World War
