Superb German saber called ''Ã la Blucher''. In force in the Prussian cavalry and infantry. Based on the 1811 model, which was used from the Napoleonic Wars (notably at Waterloo) until the mid-20th century. This saber was largely inspired by the English model known as the ''Model 1796'', with the typical shape of the guard and the curved blade, which is said to have caused havoc in the French army.

Rare luxury Prussian/German WW1 senior officer's saber known as '' Ã la Blucher '' taken out of the attic, in more than exceptional condition. Blade with central groove, entirely etched on both sides (armor, helmets, weapons, etc.) with traces due to time, original red leather tie, shiny two-ring scabbard (very rare as it is no longer ancient). Handle with chrome plating, filigree and shagreen/ray skin. Marking on the heel: ''WK & C SOLINGEN'' Pure WW1 RARE piece! ! ! Very rare and 100% original!
