Superb saber called ''Ã la Blucher''. In force in the Prussian cavalry and infantry. Based on the 1811 model, which was used from the Napoleonic Wars (notably at Waterloo) until the mid-20th century. Here is a magnificent Ethiopian saber, period first half of the 20th century. Probably used during the Italo-Ethiopian War. The handle is made of lacquered wood assembled in three pieces with chips due to use. Blade with a central gutter, quite clean and massive in its juice to clean! Scabbard covered with military reliefs. Beautiful piece, very unusual, in its original state!
