PORTRAIT OF LOUIS FERDINAND OF FRANCE AFTER M QUENTIN DE LA TOUR 18th century M365This watercolor is from the 18th century, we are here probably on the second part of the 18th century, Louis XV-Louis XVI transition. The artwork is pleasing to the eye, it depicts the portrait of Louis Ferdinand of France after Maurice Quentin de La Tour. Maurice-Quentin de La Tour, born September 5, 1704 in Saint-Quentin, where he died February 17, 1788, was a French pastel portraitist. Louis de France, Dauphin of Vienne, born September 4, 1729 at the Palace of Versailles and died December 20, 1765 at the Palace of Fontainebleau, is the eldest son of King Louis XV of France and Navarre, and his wife Marie Leszczynska . There is no signature, however this portrait is of good quality. Note a label on the back where the name of the artist was indicated, but it is unfortunately illegible. The frame is later, from the 20th century, the back too. There is a protective tile. This watercolor remains presentable, it is necessary to accept the defects due to age. You will notice friction, traces, wear, especially on the frame. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Frame Height: 79.5 cm Width: 67 cm Oil Height: 60 cm Width: 47.5 cm I remain at your disposal for any questions.
