Chapel stoup. Superb chapel stoup in white biscuit porcelain. It was used by office assistants to sign themselves with holy water. The upper part is a cross with a hole at the top to hang it. At the bottom, the container represents the heart of Christ surrounded by the crown of thorns. Some thorns have blunt tips (photo 9). On the back, a hollow stamp and the number 493. It is made of biscuit porcelain but looks a lot like white marble. It is thick, solid and very heavy. 40 cm high by 22 cm wide. Superb authentic stoup from the 19th century. In the last photo, several Virgins and Child are available.
