Pair of very large Georgian carafes, 3 ring neck, mushroom cap.

Of Anglo-Irish origin in cut glass or crystal, the decanters were manufactured at the beginning of the 19th century,
circa 1820, during the English Regency period, the end of the Georgian period.

The decanters are nominally straight and are beautifully carved into vertical columns or flutes
with flat sliced panels at the shoulder, leading to the collar.

The collars feature the three rings typical of this period. The rings are also faceted.
The carafes are fitted with their original stoppers. The latter in the shape of a mushroom is completely faceted.

This glassware was handcrafted from lead glass and is a soft gray color.
The glass has a few small bubbles linked to its artisanal manufacturing.
Slight undulations also appear in the transparency of the glass.
The pieces are superb.

The Pair is in excellent condition, no cracks or chips.
