Pair of early 19th century candlesticks in gilt bronze adorned with rams' heads and palm leaves These are exceptional candlesticks, in fact, they are of an extraordinary size, they measure 35.7 cm in height. They are decorated with three ram's heads with fine carving. We are here in the very first part of the 19th century, between the Empire and the Restoration. The guillochage is of high quality. These candlesticks have their original gilding, we report wear of gilding, in particular on one, a little verdigris, a small deformation on the base of one of the candlesticks.
