PAIR OF CHINESE CURTAINS BRAND RAMM MADE IN ENGLAND MODEL MANDARIN L1951Here is a pair of curtains bought around 1950-1960, they are very well made. They are from the Ram brand. It is a Mandarin model to the Chinese. They can be diverted, used to make cushions, as a separation. They are made of Cotton Chintz, sturdy cotton fabric. In plain or satin weave, it is characterized by bright colors and a silky "touch", obtained with a strong calendering during the finishing phase or by the use of silicone. Adapted, for its resistance and its decorative power, to furnishing and upholstery, it is used for veiling, blankets, cushions, upholstery of sofas and armchairs. There are 14 rings per one curtain and 13 for the other. The general condition of these curtains is decent, we report discolorations and more visible stains on the back, folds due to storage, fraying on the bottom and the ring fixings, no tears or holes, a ring is missing on one side.
