Sublime pair of gilded bronze candlesticks, late 19th century.
The candlesticks are identical. They represent chimeras in an empire/Asian style. The details are finely executed. Arabesque on the busts of the chimeras.
Note: Slight outgrowth on each candlestick at the level of a wing (See last photo) linked to a thin screw which holds everything together. Traces of wear between the front legs on the two candlesticks. Very good general condition.
European manufacture. They are not signed.
