Steinlen paint studio. 1957-1958: G.Visat engraving workshop in Paris. 1959-1961: Algeria, produces in Algiers a series of drawings and gouaches on the Casba. 1962: Workshop in Bièvres. 1974: Workshop in Palalda in Catalonia. 1962-1990: Personal exhibitions in major cities in France. Participate in major trade fairs. Illustrates several bibliophile works. Numerous works acquired by collectors in France, Germany, United States, Israel, Japan and Switzerland. “A great burst of light and passion, a language of quite unusual force”. (Michel Roquebert) Established since the 1960s in the Catalan hinterland, Michel No discovered drawing at a very young age, at the age of 18 he entered printing and engraving workshops in Paris where he made decisive encounters: Giacometti , Mas Ernst, César... From 1959 to 1961, he discovered North Africa and the magic of the colors of desert landscapes then stayed in Catalonia where he found the Mediterranean light. Michel No's painting is full of sun and colors, it is a kind of echo of nature always in motion. A real sincerity emanates from his works. He describes his creative work as follows: “I like the notion of pleasure and joy in painting. I don't have a complicated mind, if I can convey a little of that joy and strength. » EXHIBITIONS: at the Galerie Roland Gérard, in Paris, and in major cities in France between 1962 and 1969. at the Galerie du Théâtre in Geneva, at the Galerie Colette Dubois in Paris, and at the Galerie IM-Kaldy in Caracas de 1969 to 2004 Place Beauvau art gallery in Paris from 1974 to 1995 at the “Ecole de Paris” exhibition in Ossaka, Japan in 1992 at the Galerie Arpé in Cannes and at the New York Fairs from 1993 to 1995: Exhibitions at the Gallery in Beverly Hills, New Caledonia and Ivory Coast from 1995 to 2008 Aarts's Master Gallery in Saint Emilion in 2002 Galerie des Hospices in Canet en Roussillon in 2008 He also won numerous grand prizes during the his entire artistic career.
