Very rare, old statuette in monochrome white (beige) plaster "Notre Dame d'Arliquet" on a brown base, depicting the crowned Virgin seated holding on her knees the body of Christ reclining (Pieta). 25cm high by about 17cm wide and 9cm deep. Satisfactory overall condition, as it is old it obviously shows many signs of wear and tear, in particular the cross of the crown of the Virgin which is broken and a chip on one side of the base, the face of Christ is practically erased and globally the plaster is patinated and the details smoothed... A bubble of the original burst plaster on a thigh of Christ. Scratches and stains... About 900gr/1kg.
